Expanding its operations as banknote and security paper manufacturer, Louisenthal opened its own facility for the production of security foils in early 2003. The organization can draw on the expertise and experience it has gathered in this sector over many decades to continuously develop new, effective security elements meeting the increasingly complex anti-counterfeiting requirements of value documents.
The product and service portfolio of the new business area comprises:
- Hologram design proposals that exploit the full potential of holographic technology and optimally combine security with aesthetic appeal
- Origination: Louisenthal deploys the complete range of technologies for production of holographic masters – from classical holography to
e-beam origination.
- Security foils with a wide spectrum of overt and covert security features for all authentication levels:
- for incorporation into the paper as security thread – from classic cleartext threads to colour-shift and hologram threads
- for application to the paper surface as optically variable stripe
- for self-adhesive labels
Thanks to cutting-edge technologies and a fully integrated production process for security foil and security paper, Louisenthal is able to supply all banknote and security printers with innovative, high-security products for a wide range of applications.
