STARWIM is an optional feature of our STARSIM and UniverSIM cards. It is fully compliant with WAP™ 2.0 and offers authentication and digital signature functionality (PKI).
PKI provides the level of security called for by mobile commerce and mobile finance applications. It guarantees privacy, authentication, integrity, and non-repudiation, thus ensuring end-to-end security between all parties involved: the handset, the WAP™ gateway, and the Internet server.
